Traveling alone in Europe but still want to party? No problem! Going out on your own is even the perfect opportunity to choose the places that you really like, go home when you want, and make new friends. To find the perfect party destination, follow the guide!

Barcelona, the seaside nightlife capital

In Barcelona, the party never stops! In the Barceloneta neighborhood, enjoy a drink at sunset in a chiringuito (beach bar), before heading to legendary clubs such as CDLC or Pacha.

The electric atmosphere continues in the Eixample and El Born districts: trendy tapas bars, creative cocktails, gourmet restaurants, and more. These city-center districts are the perfect combination of partying, culture, and flavors.

Berlin, the underground and unexpected

Renowned for its techno nightclubs such as Berghain, Berlin is a city where the party starts late and… rarely ends. Around Landwehrkanal, in the Kreuzberg and Neukölln neighborhoods, the city reveals its more alternative side.

Street art, festivals, craft beer bars, and impromptu concerts in atypical venues: Berlin exudes creativity!

London, a blend of historic pubs and hip rooftop bars

In London, get caught up in British energy, whether in a traditional pub or a fashionable rooftop bar in Piccadilly. Soho remains the epicenter of cool with its cocktail bars, historic theaters, thriving food scene, and lively clubs.

In Camden, the rock’n’roll spirit is still very much alive, with live concerts, bustling pubs, and bohemian markets.

Good to know

In London bars, you can “Ask for Angela” to indicate an uncomfortable situation. The staff will discreetly intervene to help you, accompany you to a taxi, or even call the police.

Budapest, an ever-renewing capital

Budapest surprises and delights, especially at night. Like the famous Szimpla Kert, its ruin bars, housed in abandoned buildings in the former Jewish quarter, reflect the city’s inventiveness.

All around, the district is brimming with lively clubs, theaters, and restaurants putting a new spin on Hungarian cuisine. But Budapest’s originality also lies in its “spa parties,” organized in its famous baths.

Prague, bewitching bohemian nights

Mysterious Prague reveals its enchanting side once night falls. In the old town, pubs where Czech beer flows freely serve as an introduction before visiting underground clubs such as Ankali or Cross Club, two top names on the alternative electro scene.

The Žižkov district with a hint of rebellion also attracts night owls to its bars that hold intimate concerts.

Amsterdam, where canals and techno clubs meet

This is a well-known destination for night birds, who come from far away to dance to the sound of legendary sets in iconic techno clubs, such as Shelter. But before diving into this electric atmosphere, head to the Jordaan neighborhood, to start the evening gently amidst cozy restaurants, brown cafes, and intimate bars.

Amsterdam’s bustling party areas such as Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein are safe and secure, allowing you to enjoy night outs with peace of mind.

Ibiza, the island of endless nights

You can’t talk about partying in Europe without mentioning Ibiza, the European nightlife capital! Ushuaïa, Pacha, Amnesia: these iconic clubs are the playground of the planet’s best DJs.

However, beyond the big-name venues, Ibiza reveals a more relaxed side with its beach clubs where you can dance with your feet in the sand, boutique hotels with a sea view, and chic beachside restaurants. An idyllic break.

Zagreb, the emerging Balkan scene

More discreet than its neighbors, the Croatian capital is an up-and-coming destination for night owls. In the historic heart, Ivan-Tkalcic Street is the backbone of Zagreb life, lined with wine bars and terraces between colorful houses.

For a more underground feel, head to Medika, a self-managed center where evenings combine art and music, in a raw decor.

Our tips for partying solo in safety

As with any solo travel, keep a sufficiently charged phone with you, the address of your accommodation on a piece of paper, some cash and a bank card.

Drink responsibly and do not accept a drink from a stranger. And if someone is bothering you, tell the venue staff.
