The Michelin Guide's review
This unusual house looks like something straight out of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale. It was desgined by Colombian architect Octavio Mendoza. Locally called "Casa de Barro" or "Casa de los Picapiedras" (House of Clay or Flintstone House), it was built out of clay taken directly from the site and fired at a high temperature. The result is an eco-friendly, waterproof house with antiseismic properties and a pleasant temperature.
