Located at an altitude of 2,551m, the Tête du Solaise offers a magnificent panorama, not unlike that from the Tarentaise, over the Vanoise, Mont Pourri and Grande Sassière. It, however, commands a far better view of the long Isère valley and the Tignes dam.
