The Michelin Guide's review
This park is a paradise for lovers of unspoiled natural landscapes. Extending across some 3,000km2, Kaeng Krachan is home to Thailand's largest nature reserve. Highlights include caves and waterfalls (including the impressive Pala U), an ascension of Phanoen Thung peak, white-water activities on its rivers, boat excursions on a vast man-made lake, framed by mountains. The national park is also a refuge for leopards, bears, elephants, gibbons and deer.
