The Michelin Guide's review
Among the Estonian capital's numerous parks, this is easily the most famous. The aesthetic delights of a stroll in its vast gardens of flower beds and avenues which vie with each other in elegance is matched by the cultural pleasures of a splendid Baroque palace built by Peter the Great in the early 18C and the Kadriorg art museum, dedicated to foreign works of art. Note also the house in which the Tsar lived during construction of the palace, the presidential palace (20C) and the Mikkel museum.
