Museum
The Michelin Guide's review
The Airborne Museum pays tribute to the American paratroopers who took part in the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944. Laid out over four areas, it boasts, in particular, a Waco glider and a Douglas C47 aeroplane. With its large collection of equipment (weapons, uniforms, vehicles etc), the museum relates the men's extraordinary efforts as they contributed to the liberation of France. The space "Operation Neptune" plunges visitors into battle conditions. Film and temporary exhibitions.
