The Michelin Guide's review
Considered the most beautiful national park in Korea, Seoraksan ("Snowy Peaks Mountain") enchants walkers. With peaks towering above the clouds, waterfalls, rare birds and even a 7C temple - Sinheungsa - from which paths lead to Mt Ulsan Bawi, Seoraksan National Park is as multi-facetted as its landscapes. Hike to the peaks, the highest of which, Daecheong-bong, is 1 708m, or take the cable car to Mt Gwongeum.
