A historic structure in downtown Sherbrooke houses nearly 5,000 works of Quebec art (with a special focus on the Eastern Townships) from the 19C to the present day. The works are displayed on a revolving basis according to themed exhibitions, for example, regional landscapes with works by Frederick Simpson Coburn, Allan Edson and Marc-Aurèle Fortin The museum also organises temporary exhibitions of works by local artists and offers a wide range educational activities.
