Samcheong-dong, the contemporary art district, is teeming with galleries that are among the best in Seoul. The majority are situated either side of the Museum of Contemporary Art. They include Kukje Gallery, a must-see, which features principally the big names of the international scene; the PKM Gallery, an institution that mainly promotes Korean artists, and is omnipresent at international fairs; the Arario Gallery, one of the most dynamic, innovative and powerful galleries of the moment.
