The Santa Marta Gold Museum presents a comprehensive exhibition of pottery and gold from the Nahuangue and Tayrona civilisations that successively inhabited the region. The agricultural techniques implemented by these early inhabitants are explained here. On the first floor, a series of old and current photos charts the history of Santa Marta and presents the peoples living on the coasts and in the surrounding mountains.
