This living museum presents different types of Navajo dwellings, including the male and female hogans, as well as a sweat lodge, a sort of sauna where sacred conversations and purification rituals take place. A visit to these sites full of symbolic meaning enables the guide to provide an insight into the entire culture and all the beliefs of the Navajo nation, the largest native Indian community in the United States.
