The Michelin Guide's review
Etna is both the emblem of Sicily and its highest point! The volcano's ceaseless activity constantly alters its height, which is currently around 3 350 m. In 1987, a park was set up to conserve the fauna, flora and unique landscapes of the volcano, which can be accessed via its southern slopes from Nicolosi or its northern slopes from Linguaglossa. The volcano has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
