The locals' favourite place for a stroll, the Arvanitia Promenade opens right up to the sea. This lovely paved walkway takes you far from the noise of the city, amid the pines and prickly pear trees that cling to the steep face of the hill of Acronauplia. As well as Panagitsa Chapel, the path meets the closest beach to the centre of Nafplio.
