The Michelin Guide's review
Nordfjord is one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway; it reaches more than 100km inland, only stopping at the foot of the largest glacier in the country, Jostedalsbreen. From Stryn to Måloy, the itinerary takes you through astoundingly diverse landscapes: sheer slopes, snow-capped peaks, rocky headlands and verdant prairies. Take in the superb view of the lake, Strynsvatnet, which lies at the bottom of steeply plunging slopes, the particularly impressive Briksdal Glacier and Kråkenes Lighthouse in Måloy.
