Chemin de la Corniche
Michelin Guide
Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
The writer Batty Weber called it, pretty accurately, "Europe's most beautiful balcony" on account of its exceptional views. This path skirts the old ramparts along the Alzette and comes to the enormous gateway, Porte de Grund (1632). Take in the elegant façades of houses belonging to the nobility, facing the valley, at the bottom of which you can see the lower town of Grund and the spire of the Église St Jean.
