This vast 2,800-acre international park was established by Canada and the US to preserve lovely Campobello Island located at the mouth of the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick and linked by bridge to Lubec, Maine. US President Franklin D. Roosevelt summered here as a child and later with wife Eleanor and their children. The park preserves a magnificent landscape of forests, bogs, cliffs, lakes and beaches. The Roosevelt Cottage displays personal mementos of the Roosevelts.
