Don't be fooled by the unimposing appearance of this forest centre: despite its modest dimensions, it holds a wealth of information, some of which accessible by interactive terminals, such as how to recognise animal tracks and birdsong, how to identify bark, leaves and woods and the history of forests over the millennia. The centre also has a display of woodland objects and products derived from wood.
