The museum is located in the Gabrielic palace built in the 16C. It contains exhibits which illustrate the trades of stone cutting and fishing. Household objects, tools and furniture reveal aspects of daily life. In the staircase an unusual display case held up by seahorses was where visitors left their visiting cards.
