The Michelin Guide's review
A rarely acknowledged facet of Western American history receives star treatment at this new facility opened in the Western Heritage Center in 2002. The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame celebrates women who have entered and won rodeo competitions alongside men, as well as celebrities such as artist Georgia O'Keeffe, singer Patsy Cline and actress Dale Evans. The collection includes archival photos, colourful clothing and cowgirl trophies.
