Medersa Bou Inania, Fes

The Michelin Guide's review
Madrasa Bou Inania represents the archetype of Moroccan madrasas. Built in the 14C and magnificently restored, it is the largest and most sumptuous madrasa in Fez. The undisputed highlight of the building is the courtyard paved with marble and onyx, which leads to the prayer room, students' rooms, classrooms and cells, concealed by the mashrabiyas. Take in the beauty of the minaret, high enough to transmit the signal to pray to all the city's minarets.
