This street is named after the sculptor, Edme Bouchardon, (1698-1762), who was born at n° 27. The son of Jean-Baptiste Bouchardon, this court artist renowned for his realistic works, was an opponent of the Rocaille style. At n° 6, admire a Louis XVI town house and further along a watchtower crowned with a dome of stone shells.
