This is the most popular trek in the Huaraz region. Although five-day and nine-day variants exist, the trek is typically completed in four days. Between the villages of Cashapampa (2 900m) and Vaqueria (3 400m), you'll hike around glacial lakes, experience altitudes of more than 4 000m, notably at the Punta Union Pass (4 780m), and admire magnificent landscapes dominated by mountains over 6 000m high! The end of the trip follows a road that is also used by cars.
