The Michelin Guide's review
The Grotta del Bue Marino ("Sea Ox Cave") was the last refuge of the monk seal after the arrival on the beaches of the first summer tourists in the 1950s and before the disappearance of the bay in the late 1970s. Divided into two branches, forming a 16km network of galleries, the cave is adorned with spectacular concretions, lakes and Neolithic petroglyphs.
