This castle overlooking the town was built in the 14C-15C and is bounded by six imposing round towers. You enter via an archway decorated with roses, the Orsini family shield. Inside, there is a fine frescoed hall and a covered way affording a lovely view over the town and lake. But the main attraction remains the delightful central courtyard that whisks you off, as if by magic, to a bygone era of knights.
