Jean-Charles Boulmier and Christelle Cauli (formerly of L'Épicurien) are clearly passionate about nature. Named in homage to the forest bordering the village where they have set up shop, their appealing modern restaurant has a decor with plenty of wooden features and a palette of green, as if better to evoke the region of Sologne. The chef, who has an impressive track record (L'Espérance with Marc Meneau, Le Grand Coeur in Méribel, La Villa in Calvi), follows the seasons closely with his mouth-watering dishes: fish mousse, mussels and pig's trotter; pork filet mignon, polenta and corn. A warm welcome and smiling service.
