Located in the Wesendonck and Rieter villas and set in parkland, the museum houses the precious collections of Baron von der Heydt, extended by bequests by Berti Aschmann: sculptures from the Far East, Cambodia, Java, Oceania, works of art from the Near East, Tibet and pre-Columbian America, as well as Swiss masks. A glass pavilion, dubbed the "Emerald Greenhouse", invites you into a basement rich in African sculpture and Chinese and Japanese collections.
