This museum showcases a rich collection relating to Utrecht. The historic art section is dedicated to works by the Utrecht School. Note the beautiful 17C dolls house. The Van Baaren collection is striking for its late-19C and early-20C paintings and modern art is also well represented. Works by Gerrit Rietveld (models and chairs) can also be admired in the museum. Miffy the Rabbit's creator is remembered in the Dick Bruna House opposite.
