This modern district has several attractions along its pedestrian quays. A former harbour basin where factories and shipyards once stood, it was regenerated to become a hub of tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. It is a pleasure to stroll along King Street Wharf and Cockle Bay Wharf to survey the luxurious yachts and catamarans moored to the pontoons, before having lunch or a drink on a café terrace by the water.
