Plage du Loto

Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
From Saint-Florent to Saleccia, the customs officers' trail skirts and sometimes crosses fragrant maquis of dense, thorny underbush, from which rocky escarpments emerge, separated by small streams. Then it approaches the Torre di Mortella, a ruined 16C Genoese tower (illuminated at night). From there, it takes about 30min to reach the Plage du Loto, a beach between two rocky promontories and carpeted with fine sand.
