The Michelin Guide's review
This vast temple was in built in the style of the "flat temples" of Angkor (as opposed to the mountain-temples), and more specifically the Bayon, recognisable by the giant faces carved on the gopura (massive doors) of the towers. Facing the eastern entrance of the temple is an immense rectangular water feature called the Sras Srang. This sacred pool is in exact alignment with the sanctuary, and is a breath-taking spot come sunset.
