The Michelin Guide's review
This Benedictine monastery was founded in the 9C. The current church, consecrated in 1150, is the work of a congregation of Augustinian monks. In the central apse of the church, admire an extraordinary Romanesque group depicting the Descent from the Cross (1251). Note also the 14C Gothic altarpiece of Santa Maria la Blanca. The 15C cloisters, in the Catalan Gothic style, lead to a museum with an impressive collection of silverware, sculptures and embroidery.
