The Michelin Guide's review
The Parque Nacional Chirripó is home to a staggering array of animal and plant life. The incredible landscape is dominated by the Cerro Chirripó, which - at 3 820m - constitutes Costa Rica's highest peak. Don't attempt the climb without due preparation. To the southeast you will see the rocks of Los Crestones, a sacred pre-Columbian site.
