The Michelin Guide's review
An electric train permits visitors to discover Rouffignac's 8km of galleries, most notably the "Cave of 100 Mammoths", decorated with a remarkable collection of black line drawings dating from the middle Magdalenian period. A metal walkway leads to the Grand Plafond with 66 figures decorating its crumbling surface. Note the ibex, rhinos, bison, horses and the precise depiction of the mammoths.
