Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
The "Little Barrier Reef of Australia" (260km/161mi long no less!) is above all a top diving spot. Close to the shore, it extends into the Indian Ocean. Home to a rich diversity of corals and tropical fish, Ningaloo Marine Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers an opportunity to see whale sharks (late March to mid-July) at close quarters.
