Via Dante, the central street lined by Baroque buildings, crosses the small town and continues eastward via Viale Umberto. You can take in the façade of Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore, Chiesa di San Nicolò di Bari, the tufa façade of which is typical of the first Sicilian Baroque, and, at the western end, Chiesa di Sant'Agostino and the adjoining Augustinian monastery (largely from the 18C) presiding over Piazza Padre Favara.
