Aberdare National Park
Michelin Guide
Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
These high plateaux covered with Alpine moorland are dotted with huge waterfalls (Gura Falls), dense forests which thrive in the cool, wet climate, and an abundance of wildlife. The highest peak in the Aberdare National Park is Mount Lesatima (around 4 000m). Superb nature reserve, even if the animals are not easy to observe.
