The Michelin Guide's review
The building (14C) is hidden on the exterior by Renaissance and Baroque additions. The façade-retable, an accomplished arrangement typical of the Baroque style, is a harmonious fusion of columns and curved lines. The imposing bell tower was completed in the 18C. Inside, the Capilla de los Vélez is a sumptuous late-Gothic chapel, with splendid star vaulting and Renaissance and Mudéjar motifs decorating the walls. In the museum, note the Saint Jerome by Salzillo.
