This pleasant park was renamed in 1988 in honour of Lord Dorchester, governor of British North America in the late 18C. Long considered the heart of the city, the square, which was redeveloped from 2008-13, is surrounded by a group of remarkable buildings, including the imposing Dominion Square Building, The Windsor and the Sun Life Building.
