Located in the former Bompard ceramic works (19C), this museum has been a huge success. The first three sections on the ground floor provide an extensive introduction to ceramics, the Lezoux site and the Bompard factory. Most of the first floor is dedicated to the Roman period, of great importance in the history of Lezoux. The tour concludes with a small section on the Middle Ages. The visit is enhanced by videos, animations with sound, reconstructions and games.
