Museum
The Michelin Guide's review
Housed in the oldest warehouse in Hamburg (1879), the Internationales Maritimes Museum explores the close relationship between mankind and the sea through the ages and in different civilisations. On ten "decks", the exhibits include interactive audio-visual records, paintings, models and diagrams. Note the Lego model (almost 7m) of the Queen Mary 2, the reconstruction of a passenger cabin of the liner France, the life-size model of a small boat from Lake Titicaca, the section of Nautilus and the model of Bremerhaven commercial port.
