The restoration of a monument can be an intense and moving process. This was certainly the case when work was being carried out on this château, where a host of discoveries were made. From the outside, the architecture is striking in its originality: it is a rare example of a château built around a Protestant temple. The interior is no less impressive, with ten of the rooms boasting magnificent frescoes. These only came to light during the restoration work - almost four centuries after they were created.
