The Michelin Guide's review
The Old Mosque was built in the early 15C by architect Haci Alaeddin. Despite its massive appearance (50m2), it retains a certain grace. The small minaret on the left is probably original, while the second, which is somewhat more ornate, dates from the 14C. It is recognisable by two balconies, supported by attractive stalactite corbels. The interior is divided into three naves, each crowned by a cupola. Huge black calligraphed letters adorn the walls.
