Built over the years 1795 to 1827, this building is the last major public project of James Gandon. It houses the oldest law school in Ireland, where the discipline has been taught since 1541, that is, 50 years before the creation of Trinity College. And it is still today where lawyers at the Bar of Ireland are trained.
