The campus grew outward from the church buildings of West Webster Avenue, where the Romanesque Revival St Vincent de Paul Church towers over the block. Today the 14.5ha Lincoln Park campus is the largest of the University of Chicago's six campuses, extending from Montana Street to Webster Avenue, and Racine Avenue to Halsted Street. Its main buildings given onto a small pedestrianised mall created in 1992 on Seminary Avenue.
