The Michelin Guide's review
This area is very popular with hikers – and with good reason! With its red porphyry walls and slender high peaks rising up over the Corsican pines, the Cirque de Bonifato is as majestic as it is photogenic. The site is traversed by the pure waters of the Figarella, which are a delight to bathe in. It forms a group of high valleys separated from the neighbouring valleys (Tartagine, Asco and Fango) by a mountain that reaches an altitude of close to 2,000m.
