This 17ha park on the banks of the river boasts lawns, pergolas and forest plots dotted with pavilions, outdoor sculptures, restaurants, children's playgrounds, barbecue areas etc. The park is often used as a venue for concerts and art events. Be sure to go for a swim at Streets Beach, a man-made tropical lagoon with a sandy beach, and take a ride on the Wheel of Brisbane, a giant Ferris wheel, for a panoramic view of the city.
