At the top of this pass is a modest chapel, built on the site where the last victim of the plague died in 1528. This viewpoint boasts open views of the sea as far as Sardinia and its high limestone cliffs buffeted by the sea, the bastion and the marina. To the left, note the Grain de Sable rock with its base worn away by the waves.
