Leaving the pleasant mountain village of Bielsa, a narrow road climbs the valley of the River Cinca, passing through the impressive landscapes of the Valle de Pineta. Of glacial origins, it has a distinctive V shape. Continuing up the valley for 14km towards the Monte Perdido, you will catch sight of the Parador de Bielsa nestling in a glacial cirque.
