The Michelin Guide's review
Bennington Museum is devoted to the history and daily life of Vermont and New England. It showcases extensive collections of Vermont-made art, including Bennington pottery and the Bennington Flag, one of the oldest Stars and Stripes in existence. Grandma Moses (1860-1961), a beloved American folk artist who began to paint at the ripe age of 75, is the star attraction here and the museum boasts the largest public collection of her works.
