The Tropenmuseum (Tropical Museum) is now part of the National Museum of World Cultures. This huge cabinet of curiosities, where the emphasis is on tolerance and respect for the environment, offers visitors an intelligent insight into the cultures of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and Latin America. The Tropenmuseum junior (Children's Museum) is also worth visiting.
